About Me
My name is LaTosha Johnson and I am President of TargetStars. Ever since I was little, I have always had a passion for talking and writing…so it was inevitable that I would end up with a career in marketing! I earned my Bachelors degree at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. I have broad based marketing experience with special emphasis on research; planning, design, and implementation which enables me to provide companies with the necessary techniques to differentiate themselves from the competition. My mission is to make sure that when people question your company’s identity that the marketing strategies we create ensure that your clients and you both share the same answer.
I created TargetStars because I enjoy assisting small companies and solopreneurs with the task of being able to anticipate and satisfy the needs of their customers (we call our customers stars). However, the only way to ensure their needs are being met is to have the right information. We strive to provide small companies and solopreneurs the opportunity to receive the information they need and ability to connect with their target market. The assistance we provide will enable small companies and solopreneurs the ability to effectively promote their brand and give the “big guys” some serious competition.
It is truly my desire to make sure you are equipped with information that you can apply to your business. In addition to the free 30 minute consultation we offer, we also have a blog that is full of advice on a variety of topics such as blogging, research, etc.
Although the majority of the posts (written by me) will be business related (you can expect one to two posts a week), I am human and like to deviate from the “script.” In my experience, I find that life is a lot more exciting when you leave some room for flexibility. I am always up for a good discussion, so please feel free to agree or disagree. The only thing I ask from you is to do so in a respectful manner.
The pathway to running a successful business is not going to be easy. Along your journey you will encounter those who will try to deter you from your dreams, but I want you to know that you can and will succeed in capturing the right stars (your target market) provided you have the right mindset, information and support.
My journey as an entrepreneur has been full of ups and downs. However, the one constant variable in my life is my goal to reach every star I set my eyes upon. You are more than welcome to come along for the ride—who’s to say you won’t find your star along the way?
